Summary

A professional with 13 years of industry experience in Data- and AI-driven product development, hands-on expertise and understanding of underlying technology of Cloud&Big Data infrastructure, Python and Rust development stacks. I facilitate collaboration between various organizational units to remove silos, bring structural and technological improvements. I’ve hired, formed and led teams up to 9 members as well as drove team incubation and restructuring efforts to reflect structural business changes.

My experience and interests lie in financial technology as well, currently I pursue a certification in financial and investment analysis to strengthen my competencies in the topic.

Leading incubation, definition of mission-statement, resource allocation, recruitment, and onboarding and further mentoring of 2 data science driven teams.
Contributed in a major way to defining product goals and vision and success metrics for a large internal strategic marketing automation product. Successful implementation of the product improved the return on marketing spend by 15% initially and grew beyond that later.

Supported a team of data scientists in building, deploying and integration of various models.

Enabled a team of data scientists through ensuring availability, accessibility and latency of data in internal datasets.
Worked on a migration from Microsoft BI stack to OSS toolset (PostgreSQL, PyData) and architectural redesign in order to enable structural decoupling of multiple teams working in the same business domain.
